Since September of 2011, patients have been able to pay their bill on-line using th “On Line Bill Pay” tab on the IMGPC home page. This feature has proved to be popular with our patients as a convenient way to pay their bill.

Through its patient billing software, IMGPC now has the capability to allow access to certain parts of a patient’s electronic health record through a “Patient Portal”. Using confidential sign-on access, Bernard C. Adukaitis, D.O. will be our first physician to begin to use this tool at his pediatric practice. Over the next year, we expect to expand this service to other offices.

Christopher “Chris” Gordos, DPT, opened IMGPT on June 1, 2009 in the
Fleetwood Medical Office Building. Office hours are Monday and Wednesday
7am-7pm, Thursday 9am-6pm, and Friday 7am-2pm. The office is an outpatient
therapy office. The office currently employs three local residents. Chris is the
staff therapist; Denise Meck is the front desk / office manager; and Kyle Wagner
was recently hired to fill the Physical Therapist Aide position.
Chris graduated from the University of Scranton with his Bachelors in 1996,
Masters in 1997, and Doctorate in 2009. He has worked for 12 years in Berks
County, with the past 5 years managing an office in Wyomissing, PA.
IMGPT rehabilitates their patients with a sports medicine approach. Each
patient receives 15-30 minutes of hands on care per visit. The average patient
spends 90-120 minutes in the center per visit. Chris utilizes Strain
CounterStrain and current palpation techniques to facilitate a quicker recovery
from musculoskeletal and neuronal dysfunctions. His favorite pieces of
equipment, besides his hands, are the electrical stimulation machines for pain
relief and the Game Ready unit that provides variable vasopneumatic compression
and ice to help decrease swelling of the extremities. He believes in a
comprehensive home exercise program. He feels the primary roles of the therapist
are as an evaluator of dysfunction and educator for patients.
The office is decorated with a sports memorabilia theme and flat panel TVs
that are often tuned in to current sporting events or news channels. Chris is
looking forward to the time when he becomes busy enough to hire another Physical
Therapist to expand office hours to better serve the local population. On
October 9, 2009 IMGPT had a successful open house that was attended by all staff
members, the local community, and referral sources.
Chris’s wife is Dr. Kristin Gordos, DMD who owns her own pediatric dental
practice, Berks Kids Dentistry, located in Leesport, PA. She has been
highlighted on three episodes of “John and Kate plus 8″ as the pediatric dentist
of the Gosselin Children. Chris and Kristin have 3 children ages 7, 5, & 2.
Chris coaches his children’s soccer and baseball teams. He is a passionate
Baltimore Orioles fan. The office staff is always available for a tour or
questions concerning the facility
